"Great authentic charcoal lala hotpot. The lala taste very fresh and big in size. The dishes were good, especially the prawn paste. The service was great and the staff was very attentive and helpful. Some more , we can have the food in air-conditioning. Overall good food experience"
"Great food n fun.. the quality n freshness of food worth for the value.. the fried fish is freshly fried and serve.. good quality and hope you keep up the standards. Sure will visit soon"
"As expected from the many positive reviews, this place is definitely a must-visit spot for lala hotpot lovers. I should caveat that the prices are slightly higher, as mentioned by most reviews, but the quality of the food justifies it. It's quite convenient to order using a QR code, but I would recommend coming slightly after peak hours. We arrived at 8:30 PM on a weekend and only waited about 15 minutes for a table. For lala lovers, I strongly recommend ordering the extra lala portion. The initial pot includes about 1KG of lala, which we found insufficient for two people, even though the lala were decently sized and plump. Another highlight was the Milky Smooth Beef. While some may find the beef texture a bit too tender, I personally found it flavorful and much more enjoyable compared to the typical tough and chewy beef served in many hotpot places. We also tried the 4-Flavor Handmade Meatballs, but the flavors weren't distinct enough to be recommended. Overall, we ordered quite a lot for two pax, and the bill came up to over 180 MYR. I would definitely return, especially to try their other hotpots like the Charcoal Grilled Crab Roe Seafood Hotpot."
"One of the best hot pot I've had so far. We went for the suan cai soup base (least spicy). Very good. Ordered the mini seafood platter. All the seafood very fresh and sweet. Fish maw soft and good. milk beef not bad. Will come back again!"
"Fiery Lala hotpot experience. Been here a few times, and each time my family and I have enjoyed ourselves. Service is good and quick. Food prices are higher but still reasonable. Best thing, compared to the other Lala hotpots in Austin, is that they have Air-con. Stay nice and cool while enjoying Lala hotpot. I’ll recommend the milk beef here. It was quite tasty. My kids and wife enjoyed the mantous too… we ordered 5 plates of it. Sustainability wise, I liked it that they used a jug and normal cups for their sour plum juice, instead of giving you plastic cups. It’s a really good effort on their part as it means more washing, but it’s much better for the environment, so kudos to them. Lots of food places in Johor don’t do this, just for the convenience of less to wash. I’ll be back."
"The place is nice and the food was good . Definitely we will comeback again"
"The lala hotpot is cooked using charcoal and claypot. Live. The taste is good though i don't get the hit of the fragrance of the wine. I guess it will be more pronounced if you took the higher grade wine. I love the fried egg! Soak it in the broth. Superb."
